The health of our residents and staff is of utmost importance to us. We, too, want to prevent the spread of flu and coronavirus through our actions. We have made the following decisions to slow the spread of coronavirus in light of the situation in Finland.

All events organized by VTS are cancelled until further notice.

Service centre opening hours
Our office is closed from 16th to 27th March. You can access many services for residents online at www.vts.fi/asukkaalle. You can also reach us by email at palvelukeskus@vts.fi and by phone on 0201 277 277 (Mon.-Thu. 09:00-15:00, Fri. 09:00-13:00). During those opening hours, our customer service offices will only serve visitors with an appointment (such as customers signing rental leases).

Shared facilities
You should avoid using the club rooms. All VTS gyms are closed until further notice and the childcare facilities are on a break. Laundry rooms may be used, but observe good hygiene and do not assemble in them in numbers. If you have flu symptoms, please do not use shared facilities.

Sauna reservations and cleaning of shared facilities
All sauna reservations are cancelled until further notice. You don´t have to pay sauna fees starting from 1st April, they are automatically reduced from your rent. We will inform our residents when the sauna fees are being redeployed.

From next week on, the time used for cleaning saunas will be used for cleaning the stairwells. The cleaning of bannisters and other contact surfaces will be stepped up (particularly bannister handrails, lifts, street door handles, etc.).

Maintenance work and visits to flats during the flu season
We will only visit inhabited flats in the case of essential fault repairs or damage. This also applies to VTS-kodit service providers and other partners. Essential fault notifications, repairs and damage work will be done, if necessary, using appropriate personal protective equipment (disposable gloves and shoe guards, mask). Before visiting the flat, we will agree the visit with residents and check their health status (i.e., for possible flu symptoms).

With these cautionary measures we are playing our part in preventing the spread of the virus. We are very sorry for the inconvenience we are causing and thank you for your understanding in this abnormal situation.
